SupplyShift, a leader in supply chain sustainability software, was recently acquired by Sphera, a provider of ESG performance and risk management software. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012 and based in Santa Cruz, Calif., SupplyShift boasts a supply chain network of over 100,000 suppliers. The company offers supply chain transparency, supplier mapping, data analytics, supplier scoring, and traceability.
Legal advisers Reed Smith LLP and Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett LLP represented Sphera and its parent company Blackstone, with financial advisers Evercore and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. For SupplyShift, VLP Law Group served as the legal adviser and Houlihan Lokey served as the financial adviser.
