GWF Announces Overture Maps Foundation as Corporate Sponsor

The 15th edition of the Geospatial World Forum 2024, scheduled to take place in Rotterdam from May 13-16, is pleased to announce Overture Maps Foundation as a Corporate Sponsor.

Overture Maps Foundation is transforming current and future map products and services by seamlessly connecting diverse datasets, creating interoperable open map data, and simplifying the complexities of sourcing and curating high-quality, up-to-date map data.

With a focus on inclusivity, Overture integrates map data from various sources, including Overture Members, private and public sector organizations, and open data platforms.

The collaborative effort to develop interoperable open map data to power mapping and location services worldwide requires a visionary approach to defining and promoting the adoption of a universal, well-structured, and detailed documented data schema, fostering the development of an effortlessly navigable ecosystem of map data.
