Hitachi Vantara and Kyndryl have joined forces to enhance their data storage offerings, providing customers with top-tier solutions for today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

This strategic partnership has reached a significant milestone with Hitachi Vantara’s technology being added to Kyndryl’s Private Cloud Services portfolio. This collaboration enables Hitachi Vantara to offer storage platforms to Kyndryl customers in need of data center technology.

To meet the increasing demand for scalable, secure, and efficient data storage, the partnership introduces a highly flexible pay-as-you-go framework for Storage as a Service (STaaS). This allows clients to benefit from a consumption-based operating model, eliminating capital expenses associated with deploying private cloud infrastructure.

Debbie Foster-Nevin, vice president of global alliances at Kyndryl, expressed, “This collaboration reinforces our commitment to providing cutting-edge storage solutions tailored to clients’ diverse needs. The synergy between Kyndryl’s proficiency in cloud infrastructure services and Hitachi Vantara’s leadership in hybrid cloud and data storage makes this an ideal partnership. We share a commitment to pushing technological boundaries and ensuring seamless integration for our clients.”

The fusion of Hitachi Vantara’s technological innovation and Kyndryl’s global delivery capabilities opens a whole new realm of possibilities for customers.

Stephen O’Brien, director and principal architect for STaaS at Kyndryl Private Cloud, added, “I am very excited to enhance our storage portfolio for distributed systems by expanding our partnership with Hitachi Vantara, bringing industry-leading reliability and efficiency to our customers who require a modern data platform in support of their critical workloads.”
