Cohesity has taken significant steps to enhance data resilience through its latest partnerships in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).

The company has recently collaborated with seven leading DSPM vendors, including long-standing partner BigID, as well as Cyera, Dig Security, Normalyze, Sentra, Securiti, and Concentric AI, to help organizations bolster the resilience of their most critical data.

The integration of Cohesity and Normalyze is now available to the general public.

DSPM solutions offer visibility into known and forgotten data repositories across various cloud platforms, allowing the classification of data to identify sensitive information and assess the risk of exposure. Cohesity emphasizes that DSPM helps users understand data usage, assess the security posture of stored data, and comply with regulations.

By combining DSPM capabilities with Cohesity’s AI-powered data security and management platform, organizations can significantly enhance their security posture across multiple clouds.

Some of the key benefits that companies can realize include:

  • Discover sensitive data across cloud assets: Gain visibility into sensitive and critical data in your cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify data protection gaps: Recognize gaps in safeguarding cloud workloads to prioritize data protection and efficient recovery of essential workloads when needed.
  • Report on cyber recovery risk: Augment assessment of data security posture with the ability to recover, resulting in a more comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity risks and enhanced protection.
