In today’s competitive business landscape, enterprises understand that embracing AI is crucial to staying relevant. However, the challenges of finding talent and resources to build AI capabilities quickly can be daunting. In response to this, Cloudera has established a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate and scale cloud native data management and data analytics.

Our vision is to make it easier, more cost-effective, and safer for our customers to leverage AI. With this collaboration, we aim to provide integrations that enable our customers to build AI applications rapidly and cost-effectively. Our vision is built on two pillars: building AI with Cloudera, powered by generative AI on AWS, and building AI in Cloudera, powered by generative AI on AWS.

Generative AI offerings on AWS include Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, AWS Trainium, AWS Inferentia, Amazon CodeWhisperer, AWS HealthScribe, and Generative BI in Amazon QuickSight.

To achieve this vision, Cloudera is integrating generative AI capabilities in Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) with AWS offerings. Amazon Bedrock is a key component, allowing customers to build generative AI applications rapidly and easily using features available in Cloudera Machine Learning.

One of the integrations we are excited about is the CML Text Summarization AMP built using Amazon Bedrock, enabling customers to quickly build and deploy AI applications leveraging foundation models available in Amazon Bedrock for text summarization.

Cloudera is also working on integrations of AWS Inferentia and AWS Trainium–powered Amazon EC2 instances into CML, providing customers with powerful and efficient accelerators for AI workloads.

In addition, we are developing CDP’s SQL code AI assistant powered by Amazon Bedrock, allowing analysts to generate and edit SQL queries using natural language statements, optimizing SQL queries, and automatically finding and fixing errors in queries.

We believe that these integrations are just the beginning of what we can achieve with CDP and AWS AI services. Our commitment to making AI more accessible and valuable for our customers remains unwavering.

To learn more about our generative AI features and start building solutions with CDP on AWS, visit the Cloudera Machine Learning page and subscribe to the 60-day CDP Public Cloud trial. Additionally, you can explore generative AI on AWS using AWS Training Resources and Amazon Bedrock Workshop.

Stay tuned for updates as we continue to bring our vision to life.
