The Association for Geographic Information (AGI) Celebrates Successful GeoCom 23 Conference

The Association for Geographic Information (AGI), the leading membership group for organizations and individuals in the geospatial sector, is celebrating the success of its annual conference, GeoCom 23.

GeoCom 23 attracted over 250 registered delegates and featured a challenging agenda covering topics such as ethics and governance, skills shortages, and the environmental impact of earth observation.

Themed ‘Intelligent Geospatial for a Sustainable Future’, GeoCom took place on December 5th at the Royal Geographic Society in London. The conference kicked off with a keynote presentation from Google’s Geographer Ed Parsons.

Parsons challenged the audience to elevate their geospatial intelligence and emphasized the need to assist experts from other fields in asking the right geographic questions to obtain the right answers.
